Long time no updates… here’s a new piece, ‘White Claudia’.
The character is Lisa Garland from the Silent Hill series, the nurse who looked after Alessa Gillespie just to obtain PTV, a drug made from plant White Claudia, and eventually had to pay a heavy price for it.

I tried a new brush for this piece, it was very refreshing! Didn’t do a proper greyscale, just slapped rough colors and blended like one would with oilpastels.
Photoshop cs4.

unicorns are notorious for their hatred of posturing bro culture
(I’m debating making this girl available as a sticker and a shirt.)

Haven’t drawn a monster lady in a while. Been wanting to draw a Naga/mermaid character for a long time.

  9. Anonymous asked: im kinda new to DMMD and a bit confused by the fandom terminology. whats the difference between shiroba and sly blue? i thought they were the same part of aoba's consciousness, but perhaps im wrong?

    beniseragaki:

*cracks knuckles* alrighty let’s see if I can explain this here.

(pleASE FEEL FREE TO CORRECT ME IF ANY OF THIS IS WRONG AND IT PROBABLY IS)

    Obviously major spoilers here:

Aoba’s consciousness was split into three parts; there’s himself, Sly Blue, and Ren. Sly Blue represents his ‘true desire’; the desire to destroy using Scrap. While Aoba was entirely created by Toue, Sly is the part of him that adheres to their original plans for him; controlling and destroying minds. Ren was sort of a peace keeper between Sly Blue and Aoba’s consciousness, before he split off and got his own handy lil robot dog body.

Here we see Aoba’s “True Form”; the way Toue had originally created him.

Shiroba appears after Aoba fails with Scrap on Koujaku, being so distraught over his failure that he reverts into his “True Self”, the self Toue had envisioned. We actually don’t know that much about Shiroba since he kinda popped in on only one bad ending and used the entire time to have freaky dungeon sex with Koujaku but. anyway. During one of the scenes he states,

"I really am Aoba. But- Not the Aoba you know. Oh, yeah… I guess in simple terms, I’m another Aoba. I was always inside the Aoba you knew. The Aoba you know was always on the outside up until now, but he’s gone now. So I came out."

This means that Aoba no longer fights the need to destroy, which eventually leads to him becoming what Toue had originally planned.

I’m pretty sure Sly Blue was just Aoba’s way of dealing with what Toue instilled in him. His “True Form” wanted nothing but death and destruction, so he created a separate personality to hide away those urges.

I’m actually not… not all that clear on if Sly Blue and Shorba are separate entities or not I’m

    I feel stupid holy shit.
